I have now had this dishwasher for 10 years and it has been a great machine, always cleaning dishes very well and very easy to use.Like many other people my front fascia broke because the point where you open it is too far away from the screws that hold it in place and hence after many uses the plastic fascia clips fail and crack.I called Bosch spares and they did have the part in stock and shipped it to me in 3 days for a reasonable $143.When it arrived it was quite easy to replace (with help from YouTube) by myself in about 30 mins. The fact they still stock this part after 10 years I think is great (Bosch must know this is a high replacement part).Overall a great dishwasher which still looks as good as it did when we first bought it! I have not been happy since day 1; the basket broke and was never replaced even with 6 years extended warranty.

The response from service is slow or nonexistent.Parts are plastic; they easily break and there is no dedicated service in Australia.Service is terrible and outsourced not Bosch.The front facia panel is plastic and has broken twice.It never washed well either. The Bosch Technician who inspected my dishwasher stated that the replacement facia panel was no longer available and that the unit was now only fit for landfill, despite the fact that the dishwasher motor and it's performance was still quite functional.
I was told by the Bosch technician that their fear is that the cracked facia panel would cause an electrical short-out that could be fatal!Even if the part was available I doubt that without the correct tools one would be able to repair it satisfactorily. Whether or not the information that I was told is correct or not I decided that I was not prepared to take that risk and I have since reluctantly replaced this dishwasher. Thanks so much.
