This single tool can take a wide variety of form – ranging from pens and pencils all the way to watercolor and rubber stamps. For digital painting purposes the brush tool will be the only thing you need to add and paint pigment to your canvas. From within Photoshop Brush tool, you can either add custom brushes or make your own. Photoshop includes several built-in brush presets, that are ready to use and enough to get you started. And if you really know how, the brush tool can give you plenty of room to experiment.
