Usually when the game refers to armor (like armor sets) it doesn't mean shields just helm, chest armor, gauntlets and boots perks like matching set don't need a matching sheild for example (but the unofficial patch does tag Spellbreaker as Dwarven anyway). I can't seem to find a yes or no to if Ancient Knowledge effects. Ancient knowledge wow. I'm playing with the Legendary edition on PS3, with all three DLCs installed along with the 1.9 patch. I just got the Ancient Knowledge ability, and it applied the 25% boost to my armor even though I'm wearing full Orcish. I've read conflicting reports online. 1.9 was supposed to fix the bonus so that it only. PC 360 PS3 Ancient Knowledge gives 25% armor bonus to all armor types except Dwarven armor. This can happen even after the official patch 1.9.31.0.8 that supposedly has the fix for the bug. PC 360 Even though the effect's description says it only improves how fast Smithing can level up, it may improve how far armor.
