I’ve almost completed a course on Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector, or PTLLS. It’s partly to help me improve the work I do in training and running workshops, but also as the first step in the journey to becoming a qualified teacher.I’m increasingly interested in the way that learning and education can be used in community development and social action and having some teaching qualifications will really help me to explore this area and actually get stuck in.Part of the PTLLS assessment is a micro-teach.
